Independent telehealth research

Understand your online healthcare options before you pay

Telehealth Discover explains how online care actually works — prescriptions, urgent visits and ongoing plans — and shows only the providers we have verified. We are not a clinic, pharmacy or insurer, and we publish what we could not verify just as plainly as what we could.

How this site works

  • Tell us what you need

Choose a care category or answer two short questions. We never ask for symptoms or medical history.

  • See the available options

We show the online care services we currently have verified information for, with the date we last checked.

  • Continue with a provider

When something fits, you continue directly to that independent provider to register or start a visit.

Providers we currently list

We only list providers we have verified information for. 2 additional services are under review and stay unlisted until that work is complete.

How we research providers

We verify a provider's identity and where its sign-up path leads before listing it. Pricing, state availability, insurance handling and cancellation terms are published only once confirmed from the provider's own materials — otherwise they read "Not verified".

Exploring options for a business?

Common questions

Is Telehealth Discover a healthcare provider?

No. We are an independent research and comparison site. We are not a clinic, pharmacy, insurer or medical practice, we employ no clinicians, and we do not give medical advice. Care is delivered by the independent providers we research.

How do you make money?

Some links to providers are affiliate links, which means we may be paid if you register or start a visit. This never costs you more and never changes what we publish. Every page carrying such a link says so.

How do you decide which providers to list?

We list a provider only after we can verify who they are and where their sign-up path leads. Anything we have not verified is labelled "Not verified" instead of estimated, and services still under research are named but never recommended.

Can an online doctor prescribe medication?

Sometimes. A licensed clinician may prescribe certain medications when it is clinically appropriate and permitted where you are located. It is never guaranteed, and controlled substances and some other medications are restricted.

Can telehealth handle an emergency?

No. For chest pain, trouble breathing, severe bleeding, signs of stroke, or any situation that may be life-threatening, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
